What do I need to do to become a Certified Aromatherapist?
You will need to take Module 1 & 2 to be a Certified Aromatherapist. You can then join and be recognized by the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists (CFA) & the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). Module 3 is optional.
Do I have to take an exam?
Yes there will be a final exam and it is an additional fee.
There are quizzes throughout your course to prepare you for the final exam.
Your exam must have a Proctor.
Once you pass the exam, you will be a certified aromatherapist.
Once you join the CFA you can use the title Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional
Once you join the NAHA you can use the title Level 2: NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist® and after practising for at least a year you can be a Level 3: NAHA Certified Clinical Aromatherapist
How long till I am Certified?
Module 1 - Aromatherapy is 300 hours.
Module 2 - Anatomy is 100 hours
Module 3 (optional) - Aroma Massage is 50 hours
A student may cancel their registration within 48 hours of purchase, and be eligible for a refund of tuition minus 10% to cover administrative fees.
